Exercising with music

According to a team of scientists at Brunel University, music helps you maintain a stable pace while exercising and makes you less distracted. Most athletes also exercise in time with music. Choose motivational music and your pace will also increase.

Calming music will also affect your pace. Want to do this the right way? Then warm up and cool down to calming music and choose a more up-tempo beat for your training.

Earbuds or headphones

Nowadays, all mp3 players and smartphones are for the most part shock-resistant and easy to take with you. Choose the device that works best for you.

You will have to think about buying solid headphones or earbuds that are specially designed for workouts. Most of these models are sweat-resistant and some are even water-resistant.

More than half of all earbuds have a cable. If you find that this bothers you, then choose a wireless Bluetooth option. Prefer headphones? Then choose a model that fits snugly around your head and won’t slip during your workout.

Spotify®

You can create your own playlist on your mp3 player or smartphone. And if you are not inspired, then there’s always the Spotify app. This app combines several running tracks so you will enjoy your run even more.
