Would you like to know how you’re doing in terms of running fitness?
You can complete a maximum exertion test with increasing treadmill intensity. The test starts at 8 km/h and every 8 minutes, the speed increases by 1.5 km/h until you can’t do any more. During the test, your speed and heart rate are monitored. Every 4 minutes, the lactic acid in the blood is also measured as a basis of establishing individual training zones. Finally, at the end of the test, the maximum oxygen absorption is measured by means of ergospirometry.
After the test, there is an in-depth discussion of the test results. This will examine strengths and weaknesses and specific training advice can be formulated on this basis (12-week training schedule). You can then train in greater comfort and achieve improved efficiency in terms of health and performance!
The Bakala Academy can conduct these professional tests.
