Most sports apparel is usually made of synthetic materials and aims to absorb and wick moisture away from your body. So you can see why you need to wash it differently than a cotton T-shirt for example.
Laundry
Sports apparel should be washed:
- inside out
- after every effort
- at 30°C (40°C)
- without softener
- with a liquid laundry detergent
Never wash your windbreakers in your laundry machine. Wash them by hand instead with some liquid laundry detergent.
Drying
Never put your sports apparel in the dryer but hang it on a drying rack in a well-ventilated room. If you air-dry your sports apparel, it will retain its moisture-wicking properties.
