This smoothie is really versatile. It is isotonic and will be absorbed by the body effectively. It supplies a good level of carbohydrates that give you energy and top up your reserves after exercise. Bananas and mangoes also contain dietary fibers which ensure that this smoothie makes you feel full and satisfied.

- 1 large banana
- 1 large, ripe mango
- 150g yogurt
- 300ml pineapple juice

- Peel the banana and cut into slices.
- Freeze the banana pieces for at least 2 hours or overnight
- Peel the mango, remove the stone and cut the flesh into chunks
- Place all of the ingredients in the blender or food processor and mix until you have a smooth liquid
- Drink straight away.
Tip!
For optimum recovery, you need around 20g of animal protein (milk, meat, fish, etc.) and carbohydrates (sugars from fruit).
