Two weeks after our fitness test, we received our personalized training schedules. My next goal is to become more consistent in training rides. So the first two weeks are still fine in terms of intensity.
Due to the bad weather, we are forced to do our first set of training rides indoors. Zwift is my best friend these days ?. The first couple of training sessions existed out of 1-hour rides in which we train our endurance. Next to that, we also had some power training: keeping up a higher power for a short time, recovering and then back to a higher power multiple times.

As I like riding outside more rather than staying inside, I took the risk to go outside on Saturday. Unluckily, the weather wasn’t that great. It was raining the whole day, very windy and cold. But after a 2h30 ride, I was satisfied with the results of the training.
Luckily, on Sunday the weather was much better and for the longer rides, I have my training-partner Bjorn Gossye. Definitely for longer rides, it’s so much nicer to do it together.
